We’ve also upgraded the materials with which the Baola X Studio Proba edition itself is made. Some of our feature upgrades to this edition include:
100% fully recycled fabric
We use German Trevia fabric, which is made from 100% recycled and repurposed polyester fabric.
Better stability
Each Baola Swiss ball is now weighted at the bottom, for better stability. No more worries of it rolling away!
Improved Printing
Using new fabric printed in Italy, Baola ensures high quality and uniformity of pigmented colour on its fabric covers.
No longer zipper
The fabric cover has been redesigned to self-close at the bottom of each Swiss ball, ensuring improved uniformity.
Updated packaging
We use high-quality paper sourced from Europe, meaning that Baola is easily given as a gift in the box in which it arrives.
Designed by Alex Proba
Alex Proba, who is well-known for her work designing the Life In Vogue Installation, a new iteration of the iconic Louis Vuitton trunk, and for her AYR mural on Abbot Kinney in Venice, CA, has collaborated with Baola to design and produce the two new Baola products, bringing her signature visual style to the design of the classic Swiss ball.
Proba’s creativity explores emotion as a celebration of color, pattern and positive stimulation of the senses. The designer draws from the everyday for her designs and artwork: visuals, sounds, smells and memories.
